"How Are You?"
A simple question and a standard greeting between loved ones and strangers. What a frustrating question to answer when you have a Fibromyalgia but more so when you have depression and anxiety, Invisible for anyone who doesn't "really know us". Although the signs are there, if someone cares enough to look closer.
Do I answer, "good, thanks... how are you?" "I'm not feeling good today" or do I answer honestly?
Hubby and I went to Las Vegas April 2017 to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. I am just going to make a fre edits!
NUMBER 1 - PACK GOOD SHOES!!! I learned the hard way 1 pair of flip-flops and 1 pair of converse high tops were NOT the ideal footwear! By day 2 I had horrible blisters! In the future I will have weather appropriate, comfortable shoes, and if that means I need to buy a pair, so be it... I just need to remember to break them in BEFORE I leave!
A 2012 study published in the Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association, found that “a person’s risk of having a heart increased 21 times over in the day immediately following the death of a loved one and six times over in the following week.”

Illnesses, Deaths, Accidents, A Wedding and the worst year of my entire life!
Anyone fighting an illness that affects cognitive ability understands the term “brain fog.” When you have fibromyalgia it’s called “fibro fog.” One of fibromyalgia patients’ biggest complaints, after pain and fatigue, is cognitive dysfunction. Many patients complain that fibro fog can be the most debilitating symptom. Fibro fog can feel like you are living in a haze, or underwater.
I have been wanting to purge, organize and deep clean our kitchen — we have too much stuff!
This has been on my to-do list for FAR too long. We have decided to paint are replace all the flooring, so seems like a good time to purge and clean.
What Is Prolotherapy?
According to The American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine“Prolotherapy (Proliferative Therapy), also know as Non-Surgical Ligament and Tendon Reconstruction and Regenerative Joint Injection, is a recognized orthopedic procedure that stimulates the body’s healing processes to strengthen and repair injured and painful joints and connective tissue. It is based on the fact that when ligaments or tendons (connective tissue) are stretched or torn, the joint they are holding destabilizes and can become painful. Prolotherapy, with its unique ability to directly address the cause of the instability, can repair the weakened sites and produce new collagen tissue, resulting in permanent stabilization of the joint. Once the joint is stabilized, pain usually resolves.
Dentists and me have never been friends, and two rounds of braces didn't help. With my anxiety and Fibromyalgia I had to come up with coping skills or let my teeth rot out of my head. Good oral hygiene is essential for your physical health!
I first filled out this questionnaire as part of a therapy session a few years ago. I wish I could locate it to compare the answers.
I decided to fill it out again this year and make it public. I thought it might give you a little insight into me!
